CRACKS THAT LET THE LIGHT IN 2020
HUiU Gallery, Pula, Croatia | 29 October – 11 November 2020
cracks that let the light in is a series of photographs that explore microspaces – autonomous fragments of space in space – that escape everyday attention in the urban environment and nature.
The topic of the new chapter of the imaginary book of visual haiku is cracks in ecotones – border areas between biological communities. These cracks have always fascinated me as examples of an inexhaustible will to live because in them plants always appear and flourish as tireless fighters to strike a balance between “civilization” and nature in the most unexpected places.
The exhibition consists of 11 photographs measuring 50 x 70 cm, printed with archival pigments on SuniJet Decolov M1 material.
