Born in 1968 in Pula, Croatia, Helga Goran has been living and working in New Zealand from 1996 to 2012. She has been a finalist in the Anthony Harper Award 2010 and has exhibited paintings, drawings, photographs, and video works with galleries in New Zealand, Serbia, Croatia and Austria. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Design & Arts College of New Zealand and WCAD, and a Master of Fine Arts degree (Photography) from Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU) and the Croatian Association of Visual Artists of Istria (HDLU Istra). Helga is currently living and working in Pula, Croatia.
